Crisis Intervention
If you feel you need immediate assistance due to being in a crisis, the Counseling Center provides crisis appointments.
Balancing the demands of college life can be difficult. In addition to academic requirements, there are financial pressures, relationship concerns, and job stressors that can leave you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. The Counseling Center staff can help you find ways to manage difficult times and provide you with a comforting place to examine your life and learn more about yourself so you can realize your potential. Students are encouraged to make an appointment for their initial visit by calling us at 303-615-9988.
Get in contact with us, learn about our staff, and get answers to some of the most commonly asked questions.
We offer both in-person and virtual services in order to best meet the needs of our students. New clients are always welcome, and we offer daily walk-in services.
Our Counseling Center outreach efforts are designed to reduce stigma around mental health struggles, provide psychoeducation to students, and promote mental health and well-being on campus.
The MSU Denver Counseling Center offers clinical training opportunities for graduate students from clinical and counseling psychology doctoral programs.
